Baby don't bump my Danjo

Dan Spencer is half designer, half handyman around Departika (he's kind of like a cyborg, only with fewer lasers and less enslaving of humans). Its not uncommon to find “designing an identity package” and “framing a door into our conference room” on his weekly to do list. Beyond his ability to read a tape measure, he also has a keen eye for visual composition and graphic design. Dan graduated from Missouri State University with a BFA with an emphasis in graphic design. Dan is a senior member of our team, as he joined the team briefly after its inception in early 2006 as an intern and has been here ever since.

Dan is a man of many interests outside of graphic design. He is a guru of old Volkswagen buses and can be found plucking a banjo in his spare time. Aside from work, old rusted Volkswagens, and banjoing he is also a family man. He and his loving wife Kelly have a newborn daughter named Jolie and a dog, Capo, that keep them from ever receiving their eight hours of recommended nightly sleep.
