Unofficial “The _____ is broken, please fix it” Guy

Skye’s extensive time spent in architectural academia has honed his ability to find connections between seemingly disparate objects, concepts and events. This has proved useful in approximately 2% of Departitka’s projects so far, but he’s hoping this will increase by 50% to a whopping 3% for this year. The other 98% of the time he relishes his role in the office middleman—being able to insert himself at a variety of levels within a project, be it concepting, development, or execution.

After a brief freelance residential design career, he fell into a web development gig by way of search engine optimization for Deckbrands.com, a national deck-block marketing company, back in 2000. Skye has been immersed in the ways of the Internet ever since. His primary roles in Departika’s project development pipeline include wireframe development, conversion from design documents to development files, and front-end code production.

Outside of the office you can find him on the tennis court impressing upon his opponents how speed can sometimes compensate for a lack of raw talent. Off the court he tends to enjoy perverse dark comedy and funky electronic-influenced music.
